You do not need a referral to receive support from Hypermobility Physio. If you have a referral from your GP or Paediatrician under a government rebate system you may be able to receive a rebate for our service.

Yes, as long as your plan includes Physiotherapy as part of your extras cover and you have not reached your rebate limit for the year.

If you or your child has a disability, a chronic health condition, or complex needs, there may be funding options available to help pay for or subsidise you or your child’s therapy sessions:

Medicare rebates

If you have been referred to us by your GP under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) – previously known as the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan you are able to claim a Medicare rebate of $58 back from Medicare. You may be entitled to a higher Medicare rebate if you have reached your safety net for the calendar year, up to 85% of the fee.

NDIS funding

NDIS participants who are self managed can access physiotherapy services at standard rates. NDIS participants who are plan managed will need to have funding preallocated for physiotherapy under the appropriate support category and then NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits apply.

Hypermobility Physio is not a registered NDIS provider. However, we are able to provide services to those who have NDIS funding that are self managed or plan managed, but not NDIA (agency managed).
